The 3rd International Conference on Electronic and Electrical Engineering and Intelligent System (ICE3IS 2023) is an international event organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Indonesia. This conference is designated to address various issues and studies related to the topic of Technological Innovation Efforts for a Better Future. It consists of two main activities, namely plenary talk and parallel discussion. The plenary talk serves as a scientific forum enabling mutual information exchange and discussion among diverse stakeholder backgrounds and expertise regarding the latest yet globally happening issues in the information, electrical and electronic engineering sectors. The parallel session is designated to facilitate the dissemination of valuable research progresses related to the selected scopes of studies. As the output of the conference, all papers are carefully reviewed by our highly selected scientific committees to ensure their qualification to be recommended for both international and national publications. Considering the previous ICE3IS events, this conference had gained great success in both years and been considered as a potential international event that also offered a promising output through the publication in a reputable proceeding.

The conference will be held under the theme “Responsible Technology for Sustainable Humanity”. The event is established in trying to shed some lights into how the intertwining aspects of science, engineering and technology might influence how people strive in their lives. Nonetheless, we are welcoming any works in individual aspect with strong ideas related to the theme.

Accepted papers must be presented on the conference day. The presented papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. All papers must be submitted electronically through EDAS Conference papers submission system. If you do not have EDAS account, please create an account to submit your contribution. It is suggested that you use Firefox or Chrome instead of Internet Explore. The decision regarding the acceptance of the papers is at the discretion of the Technical Program Committee.

The submitted full-paper must not be currently under review in any other conference or journal and has not been previously published. All papers submitted to the ICE3IS 2023 must be written in English and formatted.

We invite all academicians and practitioners who work in information, electrical and electronic engineering sectors from both overseas and domestic institutions to participate in this conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit original full paper of 4 to 6 pages in the A4 standard IEEEXplore double-column format (including tables, figures and references). For authors who have received an acceptance notification, they are required to take the following steps:
1. Revised the manuscript
Please revise your manuscript according to the reviewer’s comments. Please double-check the English writing and IEEE formatting. Check the tips for templating papers using IEEE format at this link so your paper will have minimal corrections.
2. Plagiarism check
Before uploading, make sure the Plagiarism Checker process has been carried out.

6. Prepare a PPT and Video
The presenters are encouraged to provide an outline of the major points of their paper in the form of PowerPoint Presentation or other presentation media, and record their video presenting it using any recording tool of their choice, and then send it to EDAS System. Presentation templates can be downloaded at this link.
Instructions For Video Recordings
- Video duration no longer than 10 minutes
- File Format: MPEG-4 (.mp4) file
- Video Size: HD (1280 x 720 or other “720p” setting)
- Audio Quality: please double check your files before submitting to make sure the audio is clear and audible.
- Videos should contain a prominent view of the presentation slides along with audio of the spoken presentation. Optionally videos may contain a shot of the speaker’s head for increased engagement. (This shot should be thumbnail-sized and overlayed on the slide images)
